Here are but 1.. 2.. 3.. events that will allow us to help, remember and honor those in question and the sentiment of the Summer holidays they represent.
With this in mind, lets see what’s on track for Summer starting with the 5 Alarm 5K which is 48 hours away…

Next up is a Glen Rock staple… the 9/11 Tribute Run!!!!
7/4 9/11 Tribute Run to support G.R.A.C.E. The Glen Rock Assistance Council and Endowment is a 501(c)3 non-profit that was established by residents in Glen Rock shortly after September 11, 2001 to provide assistance to family members of those who died in the terrorist attacks. Through the efforts of G.R.A.C.E., a memorial was erected in Veterans’ Park to honor the lives lost that tragic day. The Tribute Run/Walk began in 2003 as yet another way to remember our deceased loved ones. Net proceeds of the event benefit the G.R.A.C.E. fund and are used to maintain the memorial. Also, a yearly scholarship is awarded to a Glen Rock High School senior in memory of Glen Rock’s eleven victims.
Finally we have the honoring of SSG Jorge Oliveira…
8/27 SSG Jorge Oliveira Memorial Run SSG Jorge Oliveira was killed in action on October 19, 2011 during Operation Enduring Freedom in Afghanistan.
